Promperú recognized companies with the best performance on the Peruvian Exporter's Day.

Between January and August of this year, Peruvian non-mining energy exports exceeded 14,000 million dollars, an amount greater by 19%, compared to the same period in 2021, the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) indicated.

This and other figures of interest to the sector were highlighted by Amora Carbajal, executive president of the country's promotion agency, during the ceremony that commemorates the Peruvian Exporter's Day, and where the companies in the sector that had the best performance in the present year.

During the ceremony, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Roberto Sánchez, offered a greeting to all the companies that from various regions of the coast, the Andes and the jungle, are dedicated to the export of goods and services.

Likewise, he exhorted them to move forward, building an inclusive Peruvian identity, generating solid, quality employment for women and men who leave the name of Peru high.

The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, also spoke, urging the public and private sectors to work together so that Peru continues to be a competitive country and a world leader in exports, and to have more opportunities and a better quality of life. for more Peruvians.

During the ceremony held on the sixth floor of the Lima Convention Center (CCL), a series of recognitions were carried out by Promperú to exporting companies from the different macro-regions of the country that have had an outstanding performance during this year, within the framework of this important date.
