PIL reinforces its refrigerated container fleet with the addition of 1,750 new forty-foot units.

The Singaporean shipping company Pacific International Lines, PIL, has received the supply of 1,750 new reefer containers to reinforce its transport services at controlled temperature.

The forty-foot refrigerated equipment has been supplied by Carrier Transicold, which also provides continuous technical service to ensure the proper functioning of refrigerated containers even when they are on board the container ships of the Asian group in the open sea.

PIL is reinforcing its temperature-controlled freight transport services by incorporating new technologies to offer a service that guarantees the maintenance of cold in complex and long supply chains, such as the use of controlled atmosphere equipment.

The Asian shipping company has valued in this supply contract the good cost of ownership offered by Carrier Transicold refrigerated containers for efficiency in energy consumption and design.
